Working privately one-on-one, in person or online, I offer stress management coaching for people wanting to reduce and manage their stress while rebalancing their life.
Together we use a 6 step Stress Coaching framework.
1. Get clear on where you are right now - become aware of your stress story and get clear on how you want things to be different in your life moving forwards. Create a new vision.
2. Identify how stress is impacting you physically, mentally, emotionally, relationship-wise, work-wise, life-wise etc. This helps you get in touch with your inner truth and knowing, removes denial and lets you be really clear and honest with yourself so you can stop outdated patterns and behaviours that may have been keeping you stuck. The first step of change always begins with awareness.
3. Identify the real ROOT causes of your stress and look at ways to reduce or eliminate them. We compassionately look beneath the surface to bring about change at the root. These may be cognitively, emotionally, functionally or socially based and we get clear on the areas that are actually evoking the stress response.
4. Explore interim stress management solutions ie learn some breathing and relaxation skills (mindfulness-based-stress-reduction techniques), positive daily habits, regimens/routines and other stress management tools and practices to support you while you reduce your stress roots.
5. Implement stress management strategies.
6. Evaluate results and adapt as necessary.
We work organically within this framework during our time together as each person's unique requirements guide the process and help the client to rebalance their lives holistically.
Sessions are 1hr each and typically clients require 3-6 sessions, possibly with some follow-up support thereafter. We will meet once a week or every other week and can work in person or online.
